I tried.
I boiled up brown rice in the rice steamer. I nuked a bag ‘o veggies. I found a can of beans. I threw Oregano, Sage, and Thyme in it.
I tried.
Is it my fault it made me think of something somebody ate and then sicked up again?
I keep assuming the brown rice is more nutritious than pasta. Maybe it is.
I tried adding tomatoes for more flavor. Then I tried adding salt to cut the heat of the chile peppers in the canned tomatoes. Than I tried more oregano. Than I tried tuna fish. Than I tried more salt. Than I tried parmesian cheese.
Maybe, if I had black beans instead of Northern beans, or if I wasn’t trying to go for the vegetables and rice with soy sauce theme originally, before I realized it so wasn’t gonna go that way, or a sauce to unify it – whatever the reason, it’s sort of icky. I don’t recommend it.
